Secure Your Inner Child
Many of us were raised in environments where we were not properly protected, cared for and/or we were highly controlled by the elders and authority figures in our lives. Whether we experienced some iteration of neglect, abuse or abandonment or simply not feeling like we mattered, a lack of safety and security imbedded into our unconscious mind.
Oftentimes unknowingly, this belief system gets carried into our adulthood which contributes to our disempowered and/or dysfunctional behavioral patterns. Whether or not we’re aware of how “unsafe and afraid” we felt in childhood, securing our inner child always has a calming and soothing effect.
As youths we were powerless and at the mercy of the elders around us, but as adults we can “reparent” our inner child to feel safe, secure and loved!
This is one of my favorite meditations and is likely to bring tears of relief and gratitude. ❤
Compassion and Acceptance of Self
This self-love meditation involves learning to maintain perspective when we fail at things important to us and/or function from our lower selves. It helps us become our own sanctuaries when we feel lost or imperfect. Instead of ruminating on self-defeating thoughts and emotions, this meditation will help you refocus your energy in an improved way.
A large part of this principle requires seeing ourselves from a broader human experience rather than viewing ourselves as separate, broken and alone.
We are all imperfect and fallible. We must learn to treat ourselves with kindness and compassion as we navigate this sometimes curious and confusing life experience. ❤
Enhance your well-being and upgrade your personal growth.

Grace & Forgiveness of Self
This self-love meditation involves learning to forgive yourself for your missteps of the past and the ones that may arise in the future. Self-love requires relinquishing the heavy weight of self-condemnation by forgiving yourself for all errors, past, present, and future.
Forgiveness is of Love; Forgiveness is of God. When you forgive yourself, you are loving yourself the way God loves you. You are atoning for your mistakes and inviting healing to occur so you can make better serving choices and decisions in the future.
It is not God’s forgiveness (or someone else’s) that will set you free; it is your own.

My beloved soul siblings,
Meditation has been an integral part of my personal healing journey. To say it radically changed my life is an understatement. My hope is these meditations assist you on your healing journey as well.
Much Love,
Why Mediation is a Powerful Healing Tool
Human beings think some 60,000 thoughts a day and 90% of those thoughts are repeats from the day before. Since the body (action) follows the mind (thoughts), we show up in life the same way over and over again. This is called patterned behavior.
Therefore, if we don’t like the pattern we are seeing in our life, we must first change from the “thinking” level. Many people try to override their conditioned way of thinking by using affirmations. Affirmations can be a powerful tool, however, they fail to work if the programmed way of thinking is hardwired in the unconscious mind through traumas and wounding of our childhood and sometimes adulthood.
The reason why meditation is so powerful is because it calms the nervous system and quiets our mind allowing for new awarenesses.
When we create space in our brain for new awareness and couple that with an elevated emotion, we can rewire our brain to naturally think in a more empowered way.
The Amazing Benefits of Meditation
Research has shown that meditation can:
elicit a sense of calm, peace and balance that can benefit both your emotional and physical well-being
strengthen areas of your brain responsible for memory, learning, focus and self-awareness.
calm the nervous system to better cope with stress
replace/heal false and limiting beliefs keeping you stuck in life
heal the physical body
When you consistently meditate on a new belief, idea or behavior with an improved one, eventually the new belief, idea or behavior will become your default or “auto pilot” way of thinking or behaving.
The scientific term for this is called neuroplasticity or "rewiring" the brain.
The cool thing about neuroplasticity is we have the ability to retrain our brains (heal our pasts) to think and respond in a more empowered way which will naturally change the way we show up to life!
Since our thoughts attract and create our experiences, we can upgrade our life simply through the practice of meditation! ❤
